Today is March 8, 2017, my 66th. birthday and what the world now celebrates as INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY. Ask any passerby on any USA street sidewalk what this means and I will bet you dollars to donuts that many have no idea what INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY actually means in the USA or anywhere else in the world, and more so, who administers the program and when did it start and what occurs during the other 364 days of the year relative to INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY?
The above graphic image presents the primary campaign sponsor, partners and charity partners. If I knew nothing of this, I’d begin my research at the bottom: the charity partners. Who can tell me anything about either of these entities?
#GENDEREQUALITY and an end to all abuse against women around the world now has been the campaign mission statement for my multi-media showcase, BODY, MIND AND SPIRIT AD INFINITUM. Consisting of three separate animated documentary music videos, this thematic trilogy about #GENDEREQUALITY and AN END TO ALL ABUSE AGAINST WOMEN AROUND THE WORLD NOW began as a challenge, so to speak, presented by MJ Delaney, UK filmmaker for Moxie Films who had created a music video for the UN Sustainable Development Global Goals launch during the 2016 DNC in Philadelphia, PA USA. Her brief music video uses the song, Wannabe, by the Spice Girls and was presented at the CHANGEMAKERS Internet Influencers Panel and Conference held in conjunction with the 2016 DNC at the PA Convention Center, in which I was a participant as both a filmmaker and photographer and as a district participant for One Dot Org whose affiliate, ONEVOTE16,was an event sponsor with the Better World Campaign (Peter yeo, President), CARE and Lava Lamp Productions. MJ told us that if we created and produced a music video about 3GENDEREQUALITY, she and this collective would present the video to the UN. I accepted the challenge, created and produced the music video, presented it world-wide and to the UN and select elected officials and geo-politial entities, and now the trilogy, BODY, MIND AND SPIRIT AD INFINITUM is presenting on the World Wide Web abd both the 18:29 short and the 1:01:58, trimmed to 59:47 now are under consideration for Film Festival screenings and awards.
The last installment of this unique multi-media A-V trilogy, the actual titled BODY, MIND AND SPIRIT AD INFINITUM, has a running length of 1:23:30.00 and is in full color with special B & W images, a high quality stereo audio soundtrack created by Keith Forman and performed by LIQUIDISLAND that features 4 songs never before heard that were written by keith and delivered to my studio in-person during the final edit and post-production when I held the final 23 minutes for the MP3 files that Keith was creating and/or remixing exclusively for my video projects. The second installment, Body, Mind and Spirit 2017 #GENDEREQUALITY had an initial running length of 1:01:58 but was cut to meet a requirement to submit this animated documentary music video to the EKOTOPFILM PRAGUE Czech republic Film festival and Competition.
All 3 music videos are showcasing on YouTube Channel VISUALJEFF1 and I will include the links in this content at some point. The following data presents the music video that was the inspiration to create this trilogy and coupled with everything that occurred and occurs in my life, easily became the primary focus of my arts efforts since June, 2016 until March 5, 2017 when I published BODY, MIND AND SPIRIT AD INFINITUM to my YouTube Channel.
Published on July 5, 2016:”In 2015. world leaders promised to put girls and women first when they signed up to the Sustainable Development Goals to end poverty, fix climate change and tackle inequalities. … we need to ensure World Leaders and the Secretary General of the United Nations listen to the voices of girls and women and put them first in policies and plans. 2016 is our chance to use our collective power and tell world leaders what we really really want for girls and women. If you make the noise, we’ll get your message to world leaders at the UN in September. The Global Goals will only ever be achieved if governments, businesses, communities and YOU invest in girls and women.”
The following three links are my three animated documentary music videos presented to celebrate and acknowledge MARCH 8, 2017 as INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY and an end to all abuse against women around the world now. I recognize that there are other problems that challenge us daily as we strive to live our lives privately and within the desired comfort abd sutenance that we embrace – from human trafficking to criminal drug enterprises to corporate corruption to abuse against men and boys. I AM NOT ALONE; THERE ARE OTHERS LIKE ME.
For example, Ashton Kutcher has a real “day job.” he is a venture capitalist who funds a unique and innovative software company or three that creates platforms to idwentify and help law enforcement cpture criminal human trafficking entities.
Let me be very clear at this point in my expository expression – this is not my condemnation of adult consensual sex for funding wherein no one gets hurt and no one harms another or enters into a relationship unwillingly, forcefully or coercively. Prostitution by cultural identification is considered “the oldest profession” and I by no means am speaking against a woman’s or a man’s ability to earn revenue through creative self-employment, whether multi-tasking (using more than one orifice or appendage concurrently) or singularly functioning in a face-to-face, man-on-top dogmatic and traditional sexual engagement.
Here are the links to my music videos, in this order: 1. Body, Mind and Spirit 2016 (18:29); 2. Body, Mind and Spirit 2017 #GENDEREQUALITY (1:01:58); 3. BODY, MIND AND SPIRIT AD INFINITUM (Unrestricted version; MOV mp4 file; very high quality)
For those of you who did not research INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY before getting to this point in my writing for my birthday broadcast via my keyboard and eye-hand coordination directed by my brain AND for all of us because IT IS INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY, 2017 here is the data directly from the official webpage for this global event:
IWD 2017 campaign theme: #BeBoldForChange
For International Women’s Day 2017, we’re asking you to #BeBoldForChange.
Call on the masses or call on yourself to help forge a better working world – a more gender inclusive world.
Submit your #BeBoldForChange action via the IWD website.
International Women’s Day as a vehicle for change, is it possible?
Last year, organizations and individuals around the world supported the #PledgeForParity campaign and committed to help women and girls achieve their ambitions; challenge conscious and unconscious bias; call for gender-balanced leadership; value women and men’s contributions equally; and create inclusive flexible cultures. From awareness raising to concrete action, organizations rallied their people to pledge support to help forge gender parity on International Women’s Day (IWD) and beyond.
But the World Economic Forum predicts the gender gap won’t close entirely until 2186. This is too long to wait. Around the world, IWD can be an important catalyst and vehicle for driving greater change for women and moving closer to gender parity.
What if the world truly stepped up to take bold action?
Will you #BeBoldForChange on International Women’s Day 2017 and beyond by taking groundbreaking action that truly drives the greatest change for women.
Each one of us – with women, men and non-binary people joining forces – can be a leader within our own spheres of influence by taking bold pragmatic action to accelerate gender parity. Through purposeful collaboration, we can help women advance and unleash the limitless potential offered to economies the world over.
We have urgent work to do. Are you ready to #BeBoldForChange this IWD 2017 and beyond?

Progress; current work; 48″ x 48″ – acrylic pigment on stretched 100% cotton canvas.
TODAY IS INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY AND MY 66TH. BIRTHDAY – WHAT I CAME FOR; TO WRITE ABOUT TODAY FOR ALL OF YOU…
My daughter, born in Somers Point, NJ at Shore Memorial Hospital on June 6, 1974.
Dr. Earl Kanter performed the forceps delivery of my daughter.
My daughter began her life as an independent single woman in the USA in April, 1992, 2 months before she would be 18 years of age. One granddaughter is 18 years of age; one is 20.
As I began to celebrate what is my 66th. birthday, that I stood on this planet and revolved around the sun, our central star and life source, for 66 years, and I was revolving on a shifting axis for 365 z 66 + (66/4 x 1) = days, I am awed by so many elements, by the sheer wonder of life and that I was here – still -today – and I am grateful, thankful and resourceful, with full mental faculty and a continuing educational pathway as I journey from the here and now in a forward motion. Because I also am a teacher, and this is a responsibility from which I do not shirk, I often express myself beyond my ease4ls and camera lenses in order that I may express myself with several genres and artforms. Therefore, please note that “the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) has been the Charity of Choice for the International Women’s Day website for many years.
10 Million Girls, 146 Countries
WAGGGS is the largest volunteer organisation focused on girls and young women, with 10 million members across 146 countries. WAGGGS’s mission is to empower every girl to reach her fullest potential.
Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting is the world’s only movement for every girl and any girl because WAGGGS believes that each of them deserves to be the best they can be. Free to make what they want from the Movement, girls learn by doing, making friends and having fun. In safe, local spaces, girls develop the skills and attitude to change themselves, their communities and our world. WAGGGS keeps this vital, global Movement thriving, united and growing.”
Meanwhile, in Iran and several other geo-political locations, women continue to suffer abuse in all forms – from a blatant attack using acid tossed toward a woman’s face from a bottle or can to stones and sticks to rape and by mental and socio-economic means. One Dot Org adopted the campaign slogan, POVERTY IS SEXIST. Just think about it – poverty actually goes beyond sexist, like drug addicition, and does not care what gender the vicitm may be.
Can someone please explain how the US Congress allowed former President “Obama” to send a plane that carried cash in foreign currency to deliver to Iran and allow Iran to retain a CBS news anchor who has been in prison in Iran since 1979 when Jimmy Carter was another failed US President who sold out US interests with Panama, Venzuela and Iran. Today, on INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY and my 66th. birthday, an Iranian warship was allowed to leave the mediterranean Sea and enter the Atlantic Ocean during Obama’s “watch” and has yet to return to home port. Please also note that Iran now serves on the UN committee that deals with #GENDEREQUALITY – CAN YOU SAY “OXYMORON?!?”
Be very careful if you make a woman cry because G-d counts her tears.
The woman came from a man’s rib.
Not from his feet to be walked on.
Not from his head to be superior but from his side to be equal.
Under his arm to be protected, and next to his heart to be loved.
(From the Talmud; paraphrased slightly from a Spanish translation)
Not to beat a dead horse, there is progress occurring in the Middle east and the UAE is leading the way with major steps that frankly are “baby steps,” but it beats NOTHING.
For exampl,e the UAE is the leader in the “Middle East” which shows us clearly how horrible conditions are if you were a woman. Recognizing this on this day is what it is about – the recognition that the work is not completed – women do not have equal posture around the world.
My friend, Mona Ibrahim, travelled to Israel one year and she placed this piece of paper with my name and my daughter’s name in a crack on the Kotel (Western Wall) in Jerusalem. This visual metaphor now stands for a father and a daughter, a male and a female gender, standing together in perpetual prayer, deitation and self-examination before G-d and the world from the center of modern civilization for the past 5,777 years so far.
To attempt to present in 2017 that a design for living that is 1,417 years in its development, or stagnation, dependent on one’s point of view and listing of facts, which abuses women and “non-believers” and that educates its followers that death is more significant than human life and that Jewish life and Christian life has no value unless conversion occurs, is insane at best and lethal as an engineered cultural debelopment at its worst. There are select parts of this planet where the permanent residents of said parts would claim that this alrady has occurred – that the ground war is happening and the Islamic state is a brutal, intrusive and lethal manner of existence for anyone other than a Moslem/Muslim.
On this day of all days – my 66th. birthday celebration and INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY, might I suggest that you continue to read this blog and then watch my films – all three of them – start with Number 3 first – BODY, MIND AND SPIRIT AD INFINITUM, my feature presentation, an animated documentary music video about life, gender equality and an end to abuse against all women around the world in the 21st. Century. As I have said, the soundtrack is written by Keith Forman, performed by LIQUIDISLAND and there are 23 minutes of special music compositions created and remixed for my video and never before have they been heard in this way. Two of the songs were premiered on my LIVE JEFF Sunday night Internet live stream broadcast on March 5, 2017. This project began in June, 2016 and was completed on March 5, 2017. This is for you, to honor the women in my family – especially my mom, my sister, Lois, my daughter, Alethea, my ex-wives (in my own way) and my granddaughters. AND especially for my mother’s mother, Elizabeth “Betty” Prosen-Atlas-Frishman who showed me that I was an artist, that I could do what I practiced to do and that no one was better or worse than Iwas at any given time inspace. My daughter, Alethea Joy, is named in my grandmother’s memory – Elizabeth = Alethea. Alethea is Greek origina and means “seeker of truth; lover of honesty.” The Greek goddess, Alicia, was the goddess of truth and just actions, as I understand the cultural research we had undertaken to name our child.
My grandmother was small and was diabetic. I would watch her ‘boot her thigh” daily as a young p[re-school child and my diet was a sugar-free experience by happenstance. I ate puffed rice and puffed wheat and shredded wheat – no pre-sweetended products were served. She taught me that life was precious and that being an American citizen was the most improtant aspectof her life. My grandmother ws the first-born of her peer group to be born in the USA – in Philadelphia on November 14, 1899. I was a very fortunate person during my childhood despite my car accident and whatever trauma and emotional bullshit I endured or entertained. I learned at 43 years of age that most people did not have a loving, nurturing up-bringing or competent parents to educate and assist their positive growth and development mentally, physically and smotionally (BODY, MIND AND SPIRIT AD INFINITUM).
If you still are here and have come this far with me, then you now are about to be rewarded. I am now going to present to you how the global collective neo-cortex has been manipulated by Madison Avenue. Given that a picture is worth 1,000 words and that I also have added captions to some of the following images, what you are about to see are a series of pictures that will demonstrate how women are abused on a very subconscious level. I will begin with a picture I already included in this context, the James Bond graphic from 1964:
You do understand that self-abuse is abuse?!?
Baby steps are still steps forward to establish #GENDEREQUALITY. Every little bit helps yet this needs to move along quickly – this man wants to get to Mars!!!
March 8, 2017 – Jeffrey Pergament is 66 years of age and today also is INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY. Ironically, I was born at Women’s Hospital in 1951. My mother got pregnant by her husband (my dad whom I did not “meet” until 1998) in 1950 in the summer – at a time when my father also was having “an affair” with a woman who worked at our family business. I was born in North Philadelphia atb 17th. and Chelten Ave. My mom and dad owned a taproom at 16th. and Lehigh Ave. At that time, there were separate entrances for men and women. The door for women led into a room with tables and may provide food. The other door was directly to the bar – what occurred behind closed doors is none of your business. The doors led to the outside from one direction…
During the course of her pregnancy, my mom took a series of seven (7) injections of chemical cocktails that were designed to dissolve the gestating fetus that would be Jeffrey. She was not successful as I am celebrating 66 years of life so far as a self-propelled, “umbillical cord cut” human male homo sapien. You may have known what I am about to tell you yet I will repeat this – because my mom took these injections and I survived, I was born immune to most diseases and have A+ blood, unlike anyone else in my family (father, mother, brothers). I also was born on the elevator and had ripped apart my mom’s sphincter muscle structure between her anus and vagina and created one very large non-contracting hole from which to “escape” from her womb and as the elevator lifted from the ground floor, out I popped and the attending physician, an actual dwarf, Dr. Sam Dershaw, caught me and then they had to anesthetize my mom and stitch her to repair the damage I had rendered to her body.
This was the first time in modern medical history that a woman would be fully anesthitized fllowing a post-partum birth experience and they did not know if she would live. My radical extreme rip forced the AMA to adopt the episitomy as a standard pre-emptive procedure in order that such a radical rip not occur to the next women givening birth to large babies.
My mom, Marilyn Edith Atlas-Homer-Pergament
My father, Irving Homer, behind the bar at our family taproom at 16th. and Lehigh Ave., Philadelphia, PA USA. This was taken in 1951 before my parents separated. They were divorced in 1957 but I hadn’t seen my dad from 1953 – 1998 when I met him at the radio station on Belmont Ave. in October and we went to lunch at the Olive Garden at the bala Cynwyd Shopping Center on Township Line Road (US 1). He had signed a trade-out with them that day and the lunch was “free” on his signature in exchange for his verbal endorsements when he was broadcasting his shows.
When my mom died in April, 1990, I was the estate administrator. I discovered a bill of sale for the taproom at a total of $600.00 for the “good will” and the right to assume the lease on the property and to pursuethe ownership of the liquor license.
This is a photo of my dad as an older man.
This is DJ Glenn walker who now has a blog that showcases the obituaries of broadcast celebrities and those people about whom he has something to write. He is the suthor of the posted obituary for my genetic dad.
This painting measures 30″ x 40″ and is acrylic and mixed media. I created this as an homage to my daughter after she died. I had planned to have it delivered by my ex-wife to my youngest granddaughter and also had discussed this with Denise. I had spoken with Denise in August, 2011, following our daughter’s death on June 18/19, 2011 at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, Maryland. She had been treated at presbyterian Hospital at 49th. St. in University City, Philadelphia, where her heart catheter and med pump were installed. The painting now hangs in my living room gallery showroom. Denise has not returned any of my phone calls since August, 2011.
INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY; MARCH 8, 2017: MY 66TH. BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION AND THE DAY THE “HONEYMOON KILLERS” WERE EXECUTED TOGETHER AT 1:05 PM ON MARCH 8, 1951 AT MY DATE AND TIME OF BIRTH.
MY MEMORIES ARE MY BLESSINGS.
Not quite finished; almost but not quite… (Photo above posted).
This image, above, shows the painitng at 90% finished; the name has yet to be painted – first name and surname are only green ink lay-out; other sections also will have more pigments applied to the surface areas.

Published to YouTuibe Channel VISUALJEFF1 on July 31, 2016. BODY, MIND AND SPIRIT 2016 is a music video that came to be after my participation as a “digital influencer” during the Global Oval Summit at the 2016 DNC in Philadelphia, to support the UN campaign to end abuse against all women by 2030. My music video features some of my original paintings and photographs and the original songs (words and music) of Keith A. Forman, BMI songwriter and band leader for LIQUIDISLAND, an original American rock band. The soundtrack songs include BODY AND SPIRIT and YOU PROMISED ME. The songs are repeated throughout the video, which is 18:29.00. All music is used with express permission of Keith A. Forman. This is a reconstruction project that I designed and built in 2009. This was a 3-story brick row house on N. 48th. Street in Philadelphia, PA USA. There were 3 attached single family row houses on this half black wuith a through street that separated this section from the rest of the 700 block of N. 48th. Street across the street from what is a charter school today and 1 block behind the Kirkbride Center on 49th. and Market Sts. My client owned two of the 3 attached properties. The middle unit was a burn-out and had to be 100% gutted and reconstructed from the inside out and had ro stabilize the brick walls, reconstruct the floors and the stairways and repair the roof. We discovered during the demolition phase that the city failed to turn off the gas to the property after the fire had occurred and that the fire had raced across the roof into the 3-story structure left facing the middle property. My client purchased the property on the left while I was rebuilding the middle property but was not able to purchase the property on the right to complete the small 3-unit mini-block.
My design/build project altered a single family home into 3 rental units. The first floor had 2 bedrooms and a full bath and a kitchen and living room. The second floor had a similar design except there was no living room. The kitchen was an open kitchen because a 3-story stairwell and hallway had to be designed and built into the empty brick structure. The third and top floor was a loft design with an open floor plan and a galley kitchen which are the photos, above, with a brick exposed interior wall treatment on some of the walls and a drywall/paint surface treatment for the remaining wall areas and the hallways and stairwells.
My design/build corporation, DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION SERVICES INTERNATIONAL, INC. (DCSI), is registered in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is licensed to do business in Philadelphia, Delaware, Bucks and Montgomery Counties, as well as Maryland, Florida, New Jersey and Delaware. DCSI is ORCA certified and is a federal independent contractor with DOD/NSA RFP clearances for project competition and provisions of professional services through the GSA. Although a stock-issuing Full C corporation, DCSI operates within CEI T/A VISUAL PHENOMENA, the “parent” corporation for all of my creative efforts, business and personal affairs. I own 100% of both DCSI and CEI. Serious investors may contact me privately to discuss unique and innovative RE and ROI situations.
I currently am working on a multi-use redevelopment project in Garwood, NJ – a property that sparked my interest when we performed at Crossroads with LIQUIDISLAND on December 18, 2016. You may ask how the fuck did I segue from INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY to a real estate development project across the street from Crossroads, 78 North Ave., Garwood, NJ 07027? Because I am very clever and I love music… AND ART IS GENDER NEUTRAL!!! #GENDEREQUALITY The other Charity Partner for the INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY efforts is Catalyst. “Catalyst is the leading nonprofit organization with a mission to accelerate progress for women through workplace inclusion.
